Come visit if you’re in Chinatown! You don’t need an appointment.

We have air conditioning, more free condoms than we can count, clean gender-neutral bathrooms, and a chill place to rest or do homework. We’re open everyday on the 2nd floor of 125 Walker Street, a block away from the N/Q/R/J/Z/6 Canal St station.

Address

125 Walker St, 2nd Floor
New York, NY 10013

Hours

Monday-Friday 3-7pm
Saturday-Sunday 2-6pm

Access Info

To get to our space, go to the second floor (elevators stop running after 7pm) and go to the far wall, the waiting area to your right. Turn left and go down the hall and through the door. We’re the third door on the left.

We are elevator accessible with no steps from the sidewalk. There are a total of seven single-stall gender-neutral bathrooms on the same floor as the TRC, four are accessible via TRC key. There is no smoking allowed inside or outside the building, as we are located inside a community health center. If you would like a confidential conversation with us about health information, we’ll happily find a private room to meet. We have staff members who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English and have interpreters for other languages available.

Please call us (212-226-2044) if you have any immediate concerns not answered here. You can also email us at trc@cbwchc.org.

Services

We offer health education, programs, and activities, and an awesome newsletter packed with news about internships and free ice cream (sign up for the Hook Up!).

The Pediatrics Department at Charles B. Wang, beyond comprehensive pediatric services, also offers confidential family planning services that are affordable to free for youth 13-21 years old. These appointments do not require a parent or guardian. Services include:

  • testing and treatment for sexually transmitted illnesses (STIs), such as chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV
  • pregnancy testing
  • hormonal birth control, such as the pill and the hormonal IUD
  • barrier birth control methods, such as external (or “male”) condoms and internal (or “female” condoms)
  • emergency contraception (reduces the chance of getting pregnant if taken within 3-5 days of intercourse)

We can help you set up an appointment. Just call us or come to the TRC!
