Teen Health Advocate Program
The Teen Health Advocate (THA) Program is for teenagers who are interested in health issues and want to promote health messages amongst their peer group. The program will help teens develop skills that will empower them to be effective advocates for their community.
Requirements:
This program is an opportunity to make friends who have similar interests while building leadership and teamwork skills. Upon completion of the THA Program, participants can receive a letter of recommendation and earn community service hours.

Requirements:
- Written application and interview
- 6 month commitment (January-June)
- Ages 14-19 years old
- Attend trainings on
- Teen Health Issues
- Advocacy skills
- Complete a group advocacy project
- Attend an outreach event with the TRC
