Relevant Issues and Social Empowerment: RISE 2019

TRC Flushing will begin a new program with a workshop series called Relevant Issues and Social Empowerment (RISE). Each month, teens will be able to learn about different relevant issues that impact our lives and our community such as  body image, relationships, leadership, stress management, cultural appreciation, and gender identity.

What does a healthy relationship look like to you? In this interactive workshop, we will explore how understanding consent, coercion, communication, and choice can create a healthy environment for relationships between friends, family, significant others, and yourself!

Join TRC Flushing with the 2nd Relevant Issues & Social Empowerment (RISE) workshop about understanding consent and coercion on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 4:30pm – 6:00pm at 136-26 37th Ave. (4th floor conference room)!

Please RSVP by Monday 2/11/19 by 11:59pm. Questions? Contact Tammy Cheng at tcheng@cbwchc.org or call (212) 226 – 2044.
