Annual Handball Tournament

In June of 2009, TRC hosted its first Annual C-Doubles Handball Tournament at the Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in Chinatown, Manhattan. The tournament is open to all C-players ages 13-19 with double teams that can be all male, female, or mixed. Participants and spectators can enjoy an afternoon of games activities and mini-tournaments. Health information, materials and other health education activities will be provided during the tournament.

The tournament's goal is to promote exercise, sportsmanship and spread health awareness amongst teens. Teen Health Educators are available to answer any questions regarding various health topics including nutrition and body image to help youth maintain a healthy life style.

The Teen Resource Center is looking for a dynamic group of teenagers to be a part of the 2010-2011 Teen Advisory Committee! The Teen Advisory position requires a one year commitment at the starting from September 2010 to September 2011. You will participate in monthly advisory meetings (2 hours long each time) where you will share your thoughts and perspectives on how the TRC can improve our services. We care about what you think.
