One-on-one Sessions
At the TRC, informed and friendly Teen Health Educators are available to provide one-on-one health education sessions for patients and teens from the community between the ages of 11-21. Teens select health topics they are interested in and Teen Health Educators provide information on the topic as well as answer any questions. Brochures on the health topics are also available. Please feel free to stop by during our open hours to receive one-on-one health education sessions.

Topics include:
• Abstinence
• Acne
• Birth Control Options
• Confidentiality and Minor’s Rights
• Drugs & Alcohol
• GYN and Testicular Exams
• HIV/STIs
• Nutrition and Exercise
• Personal/Dental Hygiene
• Smoking cessation/prevention
• Stress management

New York Teens Got Talent
4/17/2010
1:00-3:30pm at the YMCA: 100 Hester St. Do you have a talent?! The TRC is hosting its first talent contest (singing, dancing, poetry, instrument)! WhatÂ’s at stake? A cash prize! For those interested you must hand in a completed application to the TRC with a 1 minute video clip of your talent to the TRC on Saturday March 20 or March 27 from 2-6pm. All members of a group must register.
